Biography:
Freddy started training jiu jitsu back in 2012, but has been training martial arts since he was 14 years old. He holds a black belt in both Shotokan Karate & Taekwondo (that’s how he started his teaching career). Freddy is also well versed in boxing and MMA. He trained and coached under Vitor “Shaolin” Ribeiro, all the way up to brown belt before moving to San Diego in 2021. He trained at different high level gyms before finally finding a home at Alliance San Diego. Freddy earned his Black Belt in December 2022 under Professor Johnny Faria.
